Bondy breakfast with Simon Smith, partner at ‘the city’s most feared’ defamation lawyers -  Schillings

On 18th November, Bondy hosted its first breakfast bonanza, inviting clients to share the expertise of leading defamation lawyer Simon Smith, online guru and award winning blogger Jonathan Hopkins, and Bondy’s own crisis expert, Sharon Roche.

With more than 1.46 billion people worldwide using the internet, businesses and individuals may find themselves the victims of leaked private and confidential information, or false or inaccurate stories and allegations that are credited and repeated because they are “published” online.

Whether they are a competitor’s planned attacks, disgruntled employees or the work of careless media or bloggers, the damage from a reputational attack can spread like a virus – often with grave commercial and personal consequences.

Having worked for the city’s most feared defamation lawyers, Simon Smith shared his insights and tips for communications professionals on how to face the online reputation challenges.  For further information and a copy of his paper contact jessicabondy@bondyconsulting.com.
